EMERGENCY CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD IN LAND AND MARINE WELL DRILLING FACILITY

PURPOSE: To cut all mooring facilities such as a cable, a well drilling pipe and the like in emergency in the case of the generation of a disaster in a well drilling facility. ;CONSTITUTION: Air is pressurized by compressors in accumulators 10, and pressure oil is drawn out from an oil tank 13 and forwarded to pressure vessels. Oil is pressured by oil pumps 12, and forwarded to cable cutting units 23-27 and a well drilling unit 28 through four-way valves 19, 21, 22. The valves are opened by actuating actuators 38, 39, 41. The actuators are controlled by air fed by the accumulator 10 through control panels 42, 43. The valves are set at the four different positions of changeover in response to peripheral conditions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
