BOUNDARY COORDINATE DETECTING METHOD IN BUILDING MATERIAL INSPECTION

PURPOSE: To detect a boundary coordinate in a short time by reducing the number of calculation operations for judgement of brightness. ;CONSTITUTION: It is judged to which image area a first picture element at a first point coordinate P1 set on a display MX beforehand belongs. A second point coordinate P2 is plotted at a point apart by a moving distance of L set beforehand from the first point coordinate P1 to a different area, and it is judged which image area a second picture element at a second point coordinate P2 belons to. The operation is repeated after the moving distance l is reduced to half in order, and a final point coordinate Pn plotted at the minimum moving distance L is set as a boundary coordinate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
