AGENT FOR PREVENTING ADHESION OF POLYMER SCALE, POLYMERIZER EFFECTIVE IN PREVENTION OF ADHESION OF POLYMER SCALE AND PRODUCTION OF POLYMER UTILIZING THE SAME

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject preventing agent consisting of an alkaline solvent of a specific condensation product and capable of effectively preventing adhesion of scale in the vicinity of interface of a liquid phase part and vapor phase part in a polymerizer and providing a polymer free from fish eye after molding. ;CONSTITUTION: The objective preventing agent consists of an alkaline solution of a condensation product of (A) a diaminodiphenyl compound having a group selected from hydroxyl, carboxyl and sulfone (e.g. 4,4'-diaminobiphenyl-3,3'-dial) and (B) a quinone compound (e.g. hydroxy-p-benzoquinone). The condensation reaction of the component A and the component B is preferably carried out using an alcohol as the reactional solvent and simultaneously using the component B in an amount of 0.1-5 pts.wt. based on 1 pts.wt. component A at ambient temperature to 150°C for 3-30hr. The preventing agent is preferably prepared by as necessary adding a solvent such as water to a condensation product- containing solution obtained by condensation reaction of the components A and B and then adjusting its pH to alkalinity, preferably 8-12.5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
