PURPOSE: To provide a medicine for preventing and improving bacterial diseases of fish, exhibiting a high safety and serviceable in place of the conventional medicine having a problem about persistence or safety. ;CONSTITUTION: This preventive and therapeutic medicine is composed of one component selected from a material obtained by extracting a citrus fruit, a strained lees of a fruit or a raw or dried skin of a fruit with water, an organic solvent or a mixture of water and an organic solvent at various temperatures, a material obtained by further fractionating the active components using various kinds of organic solvents and a material obtained by purifying it according to the chromatography method, etc., or of a mixture prepared by blending plural kinds of the above-mentioned materials.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
