METHOD AND REAGENT FOR DETECTING ANALYTE CONTAINING GLYCOSIDE TYPE SURFACTANT

PURPOSE: To detect analyte by adding water soluble glycoside-type surface active gent to an incubation medium and bringing the same into contact with the predetermined number of specific receptors bound in solid phase. CONSTITUTION: Hexylglucoside, octylglucoside or the like, particularly the mixture of these can be effectively used as the glycoside-type surfactant. By using the surfactant, the unnecessary reaction can be prevented in the detection of analyte to which at least one specific receptor is bound in solid phase, or can be bound, while simultaneously preventing the desorption of the specific receptor bound in solid phase. Further the glycoside-type surfactant is not affected by the variation of a wide range of batch, and the similar result can be achieved in the batch. In the case when the surfactant is used, the result of the blood serum and that of blood plasma are agreed with each other on the sample including the analyte to be detected, such as blood serum, blood plasma or the like, so that it can be effectively used for the detection of the analyte in the blood serum and the blood plasma.
