PURPOSE: To facilitate the software revision management of a user machine and software revision work on a network. ;CONSTITUTION: For installing or revising software in the user machine 2, software revision information is noticed from a software revision information notice means 22. A supplier-side maintenance machine 1 receives the notice by a software revision information reception means 11 and it is stored in a software revision information management data base 32 so as to manage it. When a fault occurs in software, a selected revision object is transmitted from the supplier-side maintenance machine to the aser machine through a revision object transmission means 12.
