PURPOSE: To control a horizontal deflection current without varying a voltage of a drive power supply 3. ;CONSTITUTION: A series circuit comprising a 1st switch block circuit 13 and a 2nd switch block circuit 14 is connected between a primary coil 2 of a flyback transformer 1 and ground. A series circuit comprising a deflection yoke 7, an S-shaped correction capacitor 8, and a 3rd switch block circuit 18 is connected between ground and the series connection of the switch block circuits 13, 14. A 3rd switch block circuit 18 consists of a parallel circuit comprising a capacitor 20, a diode 21 of reverse polarity connection and a MOSFET 22. The deflection current is increased by quickening the timing of OFF of the MOSFET 22 for a blanking period and the deflection current is decreased by slowing down the timing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
