The E -W cushion distortion correction circuit, for a television receivers, forms the parabolic voltage that modulates the horizontal deflection current by adding a parabolic vertical frequency voltage to a cosine-shaped vertical frequency voltage. A Miller integrator (4) converts a field-frequency sawtooth voltage into a parabolic field-frequency voltage. A resonant circuit (3) produces a cosine-shaped field-frequency voltage. An adder (5) adds together these two voltages. The integrator and resonant circuit can be combined into one stage.
