PURPOSE: To improve the look of the nose pad supporting member by simplifying the process for production and mounting process and diminishing welded parts in the nose pad supporting member, the process for production thereof and the mounting thereof. ;CONSTITUTION: The part 6a corresponding to the nose pad of a nose pad arm 5 formed of a superelastic alloy is subjected to a plating treatment and the part subjected to this plating treatment is welded by a silver brazer 9 to a nose pad holding part 7 mounted with the nose pad 8, by which the nose pad supporting member 5 is produced. The part 6b corresponding to the lens frame of the nose pad arm 6 is subjected to a plating treatment and the part subjected to this plating treatment is welded by the silver brazer 9 to the lens frame 1, by which the nose pad supporting member 5 is mounted to the lens frame 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
