PURPOSE: To make a touch-up painting on the internal and external surfaces unnecessary by a method wherein at the peripheral edge of an opening piece of a steel plate on which a specified polyester resin is laminated, a cutting guide groove with a thinner thickness, of which the thinnest thickness is 1/2 or less of the thickness prior to the process, is formed. ;CONSTITUTION: A surface treated steel plate with a hardness of 54-68, and an expansion of 10-40%, on both surfaces of which a polyester resin with a glass transition temperature of 50° or higher, crystal melting temperature of 210°C or higher, and a degree of orientation of 0.030-0.160 is laminated, is press- worked by top and bottom dies 5, 6 which correspond to an opening piece 2, and the opening piece 2 is extrusion-molded downward. At the same time, a bite-in groove 16 is provided at the lower surface peripheral edge. Then, the opening piece 2 is extruded upward, and a cutting guide groove 4 which is bent into a V-shape is formed. By this method, a touch-up painting on the internal and external surfaces can be made unnecessary, and the can opening property and corrosion resistance can be improved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
