PURPOSE: To produce an IC lead frame material haying high strength and excellent in corrosion resistance and repeated bendability. ;CONSTITUTION: This material has a composition consisting of, by weight, 27-30% Ni, 5-18% Co, 0.10-3.0% Mn, ≤0.10% Si, 0.020-0.070% C, ≤0.010% N, ≤1.0ppm H, ≤0.0030% S, ≤0.03% P, ≤0.0040% O, ≤0.05% Cr, 0.01-1.0% Mo, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities and satisfying either 63.5%≤2Ni+Co+ Mn≤65.0% (when Co10%) or 69.5%≤2Ni+Co+Mn≤72.5% (when Co≥10%). Further, the amount of austenite in the structure is regulated to 30-90% and the grains are graded to grain size No.8 or above.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
