PURPOSE: To obtain an insect pest attracting and catching tool capable of efficiently luring and capturing lepidopterous insect pests and effectively preventing caught insect pests from escaping. ;CONSTITUTION: An insect pest attracting and catching tool consists of an attracting part 11 equipped with an attractant and a catching container 2 having a funnel-shaped capturing port 3. Caught insect pests can be prevented from escaping by forming plural hole parts on the side wall of the catching container 2 and forming an escape checking plate 4 at the bottom of the container 2.
