PURPOSE: To provide an insect pest attractant and an insect pest attracting tool harmless to human bodies and animals and especially having high attracting effect to flies or cockroaches and an insect pest-attracting and catching device capable of surely attracting and catching insect pest. ;CONSTITUTION: This insect pest attractant is obtained by mixing 50wt.% of chrysalis powder with 40wt.% of onion, 10wt.% of wheat, small amounts of sugar and cow milk under stirring and drying the mixture. This insect pest- attracting tool 10 is obtained by housing the insect pest attractant in an one side-opened vessel 12 and simultaneously, packing a small amount of water 14 in the vessel 12. This insect pest-attracting and catching device is obtained by placing the insect pest attractant or the insect pest attracting tool in a insect pest-catching vessel in which an attracting lamp and a catching sheet are installed or by placing the insect pest in the insect pest vessel in which a heater, a water content-evaporating vessel and the catching sheet are installed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
