METHOD FOR TISSUE CULTURE FOR PLANT OF GENUS MERREMIA AND PRODUCTION OF ANTI-HUMAN IMMUNE DEFICIENCY VIRUS ACTIVATOR

PURPOSE: To culture tissue of a plant of the genus Merremia and to produce anti-human immune deficiency virus (anti-HIV) activator. ;CONSTITUTION: A method for culturing tissue of a plant of the genus Merremia comprises (a) a process for introducing calluses from a plant of the genus Merremia and (b) a process for growing the obtained calluses. A method for culturing the tissue of a plant of the genus Merremia comprises the process (a), the process (b) a process (c) for deriving adventitious roots from the calluses and a process (d) for growing the prepared adventitious roots. An anti-HIV activator is produced from the calluses or the adventitious roots obtained by these methods.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
