PURPOSE: To increase the proliferation rate of a cultured cell of a plant of the genus Taxus and improve the productivity of a taxane-type diterpene by tissue culture. ;CONSTITUTION: This process for improving the proliferation rate of cultured cell of a plant of the genus Taxus comprises the tissue culture of the cell or tissue of a plant of the genus Taxus in a tissue culture medium incorporated with oxalic acid or an oxalic acid salt.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
