PURPOSE:To prevent a cut portion from being ignited when an open circuit occurs on a flexible substrate for an outside mirror with a waterdrop scattering device by using a fusion alloy conductor quickly openable at a specific temperature at the portion kept in contact with a vibration transfer plate fitted with a piezoelectric vibrator. CONSTITUTION:Both faces of the piezoelectric vibrator 7 of a flexible substrate 1 for an outside mirror with a waterdrop scattering device are connected to a conductor 2, and both faces of the conductor 2 except for the connection face with the piezoelectric vibrator 7 are protected by a cover lay 8. A fusion alloy conductor 3 having the fusing characteristic at 200-350 deg.C is used for the portion where the flexible substrate 1 connecting the piezoelectric vibrator 7 and a driving circuit is kept in contact with a vibration transfer plate 6. When the cover lay 8 surrounding the conductor 1 is made bare by friction, the conductor 2 is exposed and made slender, the conductor resistance is increased, and the temperature rises, the fusion alloy conductor 3 is made a liquid at about 300 deg.C and flows out from the bored cover lay 8, and the ultrasonic power to the piezoelectric vibrator 7 from an oscillating circuit is quickly cut.
