BAND BODY FOR LINING EXISTING PIPE AND LINING METHOD FOR EXISTING PIPE USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: To easily manufacture a spiral tube of small diameter which is propelled into a sewer and expanded, and also assure diameter enlargement work. ;CONSTITUTION: In a band body 10, a pair of base plates 10a and 10b are arranged in parallel with each other, and a close-fit projection screw 13 at the side edge of the base plate 10a is fitted closely and slidably into a close-fit recess screw 15 at the side edge of the other base plate 10b. Also the side edges of adjacent base plates 10a and 10b are fixed unslidably to each other by a wire 30 and a tube 31, respectively. The band body 10 is wound spirally to fit closely the close-fit recess screw 15 of the base plate 10a onto the close-fit projection screw 13 of the base plate 10, and a spiral tube of a small diameter is formed by connecting them with adhesive agent 35. After this spiral tube is inserted into a sewer, a wire 30 is pulled out from the spiral tube to slide the close-fit projection screw 13 and close-fit recess screw 15 each other.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
