HUMOR ABSORBING PRODUCT HAVING NON-ABSORBABLE ELASTIC LAYER

PURPOSE: To obtain a physiological napkin capable of inhibiting twisting and upheaval during use, by equipping an absorptive body capable of absorbing a prescribed volume of body fluid along the center axis line of an absorbent product and a wide non-absorptive resilient layer neighboring thereon suitable for preventing upheaval of the product. CONSTITUTION: This physiological napkin 15 has a liquid-impermeable packing sheet or baffle 18 and a substantially non-absorptive elastic layer 19 and an absorptive body 20. The substantially non-absorbent resilient layer 19 comprises one or more layers of a flexible closed pore polyethylene foam material and is equipped with a comparatively small width absorptive body 20 thereon. The absorptive layer 20 is formed so as to have capacity to absorb at least about 80%, preferably more than about 90%, of body fluid put on the napkin 15 and at least 10g, preferably about 30g, of body fluid. On the outside of the napkin 15, a cover layer 22 with a transfer layer 24 therein is equipped.
