AUTOMATIC WIRING MECHANISM FOR PRINTED BOARD CAD

摘要

PURPOSE: To enable wiring which has been considered to be impossible in a conventional device by enabling shortest-distance wiring with a small number of bends in consideration of the possibility of oblique wiring, and making an area pattern search which is not affected by a grid. ;CONSTITUTION: The automatic wiring mechanism is equipped with a tile data base generation part 1 which previously generates data representing constituent elements of tiles represented by dividing a free area on a printed board into trapezoid parts, a tile unit path determination part 2 which determines paths in tile units by area search processing based upon the data of the tile data base generation part 1, and a detailed wiring pattern determination part 3 which checks the relation of each path-determined tile with adjacent tiles, checking a common area until a common area with a next path time is eliminated while tracing adjacent tiles in the right-left direction. up-down directions, and four slanting directions, and selects the best path among paths.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
