NEW PHASE I METHOD FOR TWO STEP SIMPLEX METHOD

PURPOSE: To prepare an executable solution close to the optimum solution which shortens calculating time especially for reaching the executable solution relating to the execution of the phase I of the two step simplex method which is one of linear programming methods. ;CONSTITUTION: This method is constituted of nine-parts of a feasibility analysis part 101, a row/column list preparing part 102, a pivot extracting part 103 for extracting an optimum pivot, a pivot operation matrix preparing part 104 for preparing a pivot operation matrix for updating a right side vector, a discharge condition analysis part 105 for analyzing a discharging direction from a base, a base transforming part 106 for base-transforming based on the discharging direction and the optimum extracted pivot, a right side vector updating part 107, a row/column list updating part 108 and a conventional phase I 109.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
