PURPOSE:To achieve a job for accurate auto-loading by installing a roll paper sensor part, issuing an output at a time when load is imposed on roll paper and this load has come to the specified value, and a looseness sensor part respectively, and making a sense of the roll paper and a position of its slit automatically judgeable. CONSTITUTION:When roll paper is inset in a feed-paper holder of equipment, a second pulse motor 6 is operated by the command of a control part 5 and this roll paper is rotated, while a first pulse motor 3 of a sensor part 1 is operated, and a load sensor 2 is moved downward via a rack 13 in mesh with a worm 12 on the tuning shaft, then an adhesive terminal 14 is made contact with the roll paper 10. In succession, output of the load sensor 2 is inputted into the control part 5 via an analog-to-digital conversion part 4, comparing it with the previous sampling data, and whether there is a sudden variation or not is judged, while a sense of the roll paper 10 and a position of its slit are judged from the sampling data and a rotational direction of the roll paper. In this connection, when any looseness is detected by a looseness sensor part 7, the second pulse motor 6 is rotated in reverse.
