PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for display of the document picture for display of image information in the electronic filing system which manages image information. CONSTITUTION:A title picture clear step 1 and an image display information reading-in step 2 are simultaneously operated, and an expanded image memory reserving step 3, a half-tone processing step 4 for display image memory, and a compressed image reading-in step 5 are simultaneously operated, and an image reduction and transfer step 8 and a document picture menu display step 9 are simultaneously operated. Thus, the time required for display of the document picture is shortened.
