PURPOSE: To obtain a differentiatial scanning calorimeter heating furnace which can quench, cool gradually, or cool naturally a sample. ;CONSTITUTION: The differential scanning calorimeter heating furnace comprises a heating furnace body 1 having an inner sample and reference substance mounting space 11 and a space 12 formed above the sample space with a heater 5 arranged on the outer periphery, and a heating furnace cover 4 interposed between both spaces. The heating furnace further comprises a stopper pin 6 provided movably with respect to the furnace body 1 at a position spaced apart by a predetermined distance upward from the furnace cover 4 so that the stopper pin 6 projects into the space 12, and a cooling gas blowing port 7 disposed directing toward the furnace cover with the outlet thereof being located at the upper part in the space 12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
