This invention concerns a device for guiding and collecting carcinogenic particles when frying foods, such as meat. The invention solves this problem by means of a device fitted with a cover and supports/spacers is placed over the heating vessel. This device then guides the carcinogenic frying fumes away from the user and in towards the kitchen fan. The device thereby also prevents fat splashing out towards the user and kitchen/room.
