Tuneable detector of ultraviolet radiation in the 200-400 nm range that is presented as a device based on the transmission produced by an alkaline halide of ions Eu that makes ultraviolet (UV) radiation visible. This visible light is detected using a photo-detector whose signal is amplified. The device can average the radiation (UV) at different wavelengths between 220 nm and 400 nm. Its characteristics allow it to measure solar (UV) on the earth surface. This measurement can also be indicative of the level of pollution.
