The invention describes methods and appropriate diagnostic kits of different physiological states producing altered levels of specific carbohydrates, known as diagnostic carbohydrates. The evaluation of diagnostic carbohydrate levels is by means of electrophoresis of fluorophore-assisted carbohydrate. The physiological states within the scope of the invention include diseases of carbohydrate metabolism, autoimmune diseases, toxic exposure to chemicals and microbial infections. We can apply diagnosis electrophoresis assisted carbohydrate fluorophore different samples from a patient, including blood, urine and skin.
