BLOOD PRESSURE MONITORING TECHNIQUE WHICH UTILIZES A PATIENT'S SUPRAORBITAL ARTERY

Describes a process for obtaining certain information about the blood pressure of a patient using a special technique of control of blood pressure, in particular using an oscillometric, wherein the inflatable bladder pressure transducer (18) is adjacent and cooperates with a particular patient's artery (12); this method is used in combination with elements (24) for hold pressurizing the bladder (18) controlled so as to obtain the desired information. The particular artery is used supraorbital artery (14) that is easily accessible in a specific region just above the eyebrow almost all patients. Also described is a set transducing bladder of the blood pressure (16) specifically designed for easy access to the supraorbital artery (14) for almost all patients, using the eyebrow and the patient's nose as a baseline.
