The present invention aims to obtain a peptide having a thrombolytic action comprising 136 amino acids which is less problematic in antigenicity than that of staphylokinase (SAK), and which is also minimally administered, a method for producing the same, and a thrombolytic agent. A tryptophilic protease is used to obtain an amino acid or a peptide-excised peptide which does not affect the activity of SAK. In particular, SAK-11 obtained by digesting a peptide consisting of 10 amino acids at the N-terminus of SAK has an activity such as fibrinolysis reaction, plasminogen activation reaction and fibrin specificity of SAK, which is superior to SAK.
