METHOD FOR DETERMINING RADIOSENSITIVITY OF TUMORS

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: Distinguishing trait of this method resides in that, in order to attain desired object, tumors are inoculated to two groups of animals. In first group, tumors are irradiated by absorbed dose of 3.5 gr ≅D₁≅ 6.5 gr and in second group with dose of (D₁+1,5 gr)≅D₂≅8 gr. Tumor volumes V₁ and V₂ in both groups of animals should be measured one time after expiration of period t_n = 2.2 D₂ (days). Radiobiological parameters D_o and n characterizing radiosensitivity of tumor should be determined with aid of formulae given in specification. EFFECT: higher accuracy.
