The two wedge positioners (1, 1') are connected by a rod and thus a pivotal movement of one positioner is transmitted to the other. There is an impact damper (9) working in both power transmitting directions of the rod. The wedge positioners ar biased in the direction of the maximum inclined position by a spring. They have a gliding surface (11) to give sliding levelling of the object (13) to be adjusted. USE - Can be used to adjust the head or foot of a bed into an inclined position.
