Several springs (5), interrupting the switching on direction of the cover plate, effect the switching function of the cover plate (3). The springs are arranged between the cover plate and the steering wheel hub (1) and possibly the steering wheel spokes. A ring shaped foil switch (8) fixed at the frame is fitted around the steering column. The switch lies opposite the several springs connected to the cover plate (3). A gap (6) is formed between the plastic pins (4) and the ring shaped foil (8), with an interruption switching function of the signal horn. ADVANTAGE - Steering wheel has no electrically conducting components for the switching function of signal horn and simple mounting of steering wheel is possible.
