The device has a housing with channel, and a turnable throttle valve shaft, which projects crosswise through the channel and has a slot in this area. The slot is triangular, and a circular throttle valve is fastened in it. One or more apertures (12,13) are formed in the edge of the throttle valve (7), facing two of the walls (5) of the slot. The tips (6) of these triangular side walls are located within the throttle channel. The apertures are triangular. The valve is formed by two parts. USE/ADVANTAGE - Undesired leakage air volume on throttle valve of IC engine is reduced.
