In the axial blower the blade reset moments (L) in the operational state are transmitted in a positive fit manner via a movable ring (R) and a disc. The reset moments are compensated by a counter moment derived from a balancing weight (A) separately and radially mounted and likewise having a positive fit with the ring and disc. The blade position is regulated by an adjustment mechanism driven by a position motor (S). USE/ADVANTAGE - Single or two-stage axial blower is suitable for a coal-fired boiler installation. It shortens the structural length, reduces the rotating mass and relieves stress on the blade supports.
