The X-ray angiography appts. has an imaging system providing individual digital images of the examined area of the patient, which overlap one another. The images are held in a memory (6) of a laser image reproduction device (7), with an associated control (8) allowing image lines at the image edges to be removed, so that an image of the entire area can be provided without any overlap. Pref. a pattern recognition circuit (9) is used to determine the number of permissible image lines, with a brightness control used to match the brightness of the individual images.
