The antenna termination uses at least one flat metal strip (4) attached via insulation to the inner windscreen panel, with a terminal tag (5) attached to the end of the antenna element which is sandwiched between the inner end outer windscreen panels and which projects into a notch (2) in the edge of the inner windscreen panel. The metal strip is embedded in an electrically insulating moulded plastics element (3), with the terminal tag projecting from the latter and an antenna cable (6) attached to the rear end of the metal strip within the moulded plastics element. Pref. the latter has a width which is several times greater than that of the antenna cable. ADVANTAGE - Simple fitting and reduced risk of damage during handling of windscreen.
