The electromagnetic coupling between power cables and windscreen antennas installed in electric cars is estimated using the cable analysis methods. Two methods (MTL and combined MoM/MTL) for cable coupling analysis are discussed in terms of theoretical background and validated with the radiation configuration of a simple cable. To observe the EMI of the radiated power from power cables, the windscreen antenna is designed in a rear window of the electric vehicle and the power cable is placed to run from a battery to an electric motor. The obtained results indicate that the coupled power's intensity to the windscreen antennas depends on the shielding structure of the power cable.
