The fibre has a core and cover of silica glass and the diffusion at Rmax less than 150 mm has a min and at Rmin has a max. The transformation point is greater than 700 deg C. On the fibre a dressing is applied.The fibre is provided with a protective cover of metal or rare metal, glass or silica glass. Alternatively, it can have a thin and/or slightly plastic protective cover of a polymer material, pref polyimide.
