The coin box emptying device uses the control circuit for the amusement machine to activate a coin delivery mechanism incorporated in the coinbox, when the door of the amusement machine is opened and a number of operating elements (7) are operated. The coin delivery mechanism remains in operation until the coinbox is empty, the delivered amount being indicated via the amusement machine credit display. Pref. only the higher value coins are counted out from the coinbox, the coin delivery mechanism only activated upon simultaneous operation of a number of operating elements.
