In a method for minimising an error of a measuring transducer with strain gauge arrangements arranged on the transducer body (10) and interconnected to form a measuring bridge, the calibration or the minimisation of error influences is ensured by the fact that strain gauge arrangements are connected to one another in two adjacent bridge branches (1-2, 1-5) via a connecting point (4, 6) provided in the course of the respective strain gauge arrangement with interposition of an adjustable resistor (R7), and that the resistor (R7) is adjusted in such a manner that the influence of the arrangement sections (R3, R6 and R4, R5), defined by the connecting points (4, 6), on the measurement result produces a reduction in error.
