Hot fluid flows in the principal direction (FC) in the internal zone of the exchanger. Part of the hot fluid thermal energy is transferred to a fluid (FD) circulating in a tube bundle (30 - 35) which extends inside the exchange zone. The tube bundle has bends (30P - 35P) which are protected against wear caused by suspended abrasive particles carried in the hot fluid. The anti-erosion system is formed by shutters or plates (51 - 56) located inside the tube bundle (30-38;30-35) near the middle of the bends and perpendicular to the tube central plane. ADVANTAGE - Easily placed and lighter anti-erosion baffles.
