PURPOSE:To obtain the title remedy by combining steroid with a trypsin inhibitor. CONSTITUTION:A remedy for autoimmune intestinal diseases is obtained by a combination of a steroid (a steroid with anti-inflammatory activity or its derivative) with a trypsin inhibtor such as urine-originating trypsin inhibtor or aprotinin. The preparation is effective against ulcerative colities, regional ileitis and intestinal Behchet's diseases. The steroid is used in the form of a water-soluble steroid (an organic acid salt with prednisolone), a lipid emulsion containing steroid, liposome containing steroid or a rectal preparation containing steroid. The administration is suitably effected orally or parenterally in combination once to several times a day. The dose is 0.1-10mg/day of the steroid and 1-100,000units/day of the trypsin inhibitor.
