PURPOSE: To enable a response film to be maintained in a stable state which is hardly fluctuated by electrodes and to hold excellent characteristics for a long period by hardening a mixture of an epoxy resin, polyvinyl chloride resin (PVC), responding substance, and hardening agent mixed at specific ratio by weight by maintaining the mixture at a specific temperature. ;CONSTITUTION: When PVC is added to an epoxy resin and aliphatic polyamine is used as a hardening agent, Cl, and amino group in the PVC bond to each other and a strong matrix is formed. Since the quaternary ammonium salt being the responding substance is a liquid and has fluidity, ion exchange can take place smoothly at the interface even when no solvent exists. When the adding amount of the PVC is set at ≤1/8 of the amount of the epoxy resin, the internal resistance becomes higher by one figure and, when the amount is set at ≥2/1 of the amount of the epoxy resin, the amount of drifts in the blood serum abruptly increases. Bisphenol type epoxy resin is preferable for the epoxy resin and a PVC having a polymerization degree of about 2,500 is preferable for the PVC.
