PURPOSE:To conduct sheet adjustment to a tray by providing at a discharge portion a discharge roller which sends out on the discharged-paper tray a sheet separated from a sheet-carrying-device and driving the discharge roller by means of a timing belt provided at the drive-source of the sheet-carrying-device. CONSTITUTION:At a sheet-discharge portion 18, are provided a pinch-roll 5 which press-contacts a sheet to the belt 13 of a belt-carrying-device and a gate 23 which separates a sheet. In addition, are provided a discharge roll 24 which forcibly discharges a sheet which has been separated onto a tray, and a follower roll 25. A pulley 32 is prevented at a drive-motor 31 which drives the belt 13 of the belt-carrying-device, and the discharge roller 24 is always tensely covered across with a timing belt 33 and is driven forcibly. Accordingly, there is no need of providing the drive-source of the discharge roller 24 on a separate basis and the sending of a sheet onto the tray can be done inexpensively and surely.
