PURPOSE: To provide an insulation monitoring sensor which can monitor the insulation condition of each apparatus and member in non-contact state and detect abnormal state in an early stage. ;CONSTITUTION: A pair of electrodes 1 to discharge and generate pulse signals corresponding to an ultraviolet ray radiated at the time of partial discharge, which becomes an index of the insulation state of an article to be monitored, is sealed in a glass tube 1, the tube is put in a metal case 7 having a window, and the gap between the metal case 7 and connection part 4 of a lead wire 3 and a cable 5 is filled with resin 6.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
