摘要

PURPOSE:To apply a running load superior in reporoducibility upon a vehicle or engine to be tested by controlling a power absorption part with a control signal based upon the kind of the vehicle, the characteristic inertia of the machine system of the dynamo motor, etc. CONSTITUTION:A pattern generation part PG consists of a drive pattern generator 10 and a run resistance pattern generator 12. A pattern display device 11 inputs a pattern RP in synchronism with a target run pattern RP inputted to the generator 12 to display a target run speed V, and also inputs an actual speed (v) from a speed sensor 6 to display it. Then, the generator 12 outputs the control signal S based upon the speed V, inertia values I and Im, and run resistance RL to a power absorption control part 8, thereby controlling the power absorption part 3. Consequently, a driver drives the vehicle so that the speed V on the display 11 coincides with the speed (v). The control part 8, on the other hand, supplies an absorption instruction to the absorption part 3 in response to the signal S to drive and control it, thereby placing a run load equivalent to a target load upon the vehicle 2.
