PURPOSE:To mechanize a surface soil leveling work by providing a surface leveling device on which a mounting rear plate is pivoted so that it is capable of controlling a vertical oscillation to a self-traveling type main motor, and screwing right and left leveling plates to both side ends of right and left of the mounting rear plate so that they are capable of controlling horizontal revolution. CONSTITUTION:A surface soil leveling device C is mounted to the front of a self- traveling type main motor A of a back hoe through vertical/bowing mechanism B. Boom controlling piston/cylinder mechanisms 1 and 2 and an arm controlling piston/ cylinder mechanism 4 are operated hydraulically to operate the vertical/bowing mechanism B. After that, a surface soil leveling device controlling cylinder 11, right and left leveling plate controlling cylinders 19 and 20, the boom controlling piston/cylinder mechanisms 1 and 2 and the arm controlling piston/cylinder mechanism 4 are operated all together to set a vertical oscillation angle of the surface soil leveling device C on all such occasions.
