PURPOSE:To make perpetual family use of a single gravestone possible by a method wherein a housing in which plates for posthumous Buddhist names are housed is provided in vertical structure, and a plurality of said plates are housed therein being arranged with their surfaces facing front so that they can be put in and out freely. CONSTITUTION:A relatively large housing 5 wherein plates for posthumous Buddhist names are housed is made in vertical structure at the center of a main body 4 of a gravestone. A projecting part 3 of a subbase 2 is fitted into an extended hole 6 for fitting, and thereby the main body 4 is placed on and is fixed to the subbase 2. A plurality of partition sections 7a and 7b are arranged at specified intervals on both sides on the right and the left of the housing 5 for housing of the plates for posthumous Buddhist names. Then said plates 10 are placed with their surfaces facing front between each pair of partition sections 7a and 7b provided on positions facing each other on the right and the left so that they can be put in and out freely. Thereby optional replacement of the plates 10 becomes possible.
