OPERATION MONITOR OF DEHUMIDIFIER FOR FLUID

PURPOSE: To provide an operation monitor of dehumidifier for fluid in which the failure is reduced and found easily, if any, while simplifying the structure. ;CONSTITUTION: A mirror surface 12 is cooled at a predetermined temperature close to the dew point of a dehumidified fluid fed from a fluid dehumidifier through a cooling means and the dehumidified fluid is fed into a channel 20 constituting at least a part of the wall surface along the mirror surface 12. The cloud on the mirror surface 12 caused by dew formation of the dehumidifying fluid flowing through the channel 20 is then observed and the operating conditions of the fluid dehumidifier is monitored. In this operation monitor, the means for cooling the mirror surface 12 comprises a refrigerator for supplying the cooling air, a chamber 28 disposed on the rear side of the mirror surface 12 and cooling the mirror surface 12 with the cooling air from the refrigerator, and supply and discharge pipes 36, 38 for supplying and discharging the cooling air to and from the cooling chamber 28. The wall surface constituting the channel 20 is formed, at least partially, out of a transparent member in order to allow observation of cloud on the mirror surface 12 with the eyes.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
