PURPOSE: To provide an SHG type laser module which can be adjusted in plane of polarization without rotating a waveguide. ;CONSTITUTION: In an SHG type laser module which optically couples a laser diode 1 with a waveguide type SHG element 4 through a collimating lens 2 and condenser lens 3, a Farady rotor 6 and a variable magnetic field impressing means, for example, a coil 5 which impresses an intensity-adjustable magnetic field upon the rotor 6, and power source 7 are provided between the lenses 2 and 3.
