PURPOSE: To provide a support for a volleyball having strength sufficiently usable for a regular game and a wt. capable of carrying at least one support by one person and capable of using a conventional insertion hole as it is by using a support made of an aluminum alloy and a reinforcing rib. ;CONSTITUTION: A support main body 10 is made of an aluminum alloy and the base part inserted in an insertion hole 40 of the main body 10 is formed into a cylindrical shape with a wall thickness of 4-8mm and at least the lowermost part of the base part 11 is set to 75mm-below 77mm in its diameter so as to be just inserted in the insertion hole 40 having an inner diameter of about 77mm. A reinforcing rib 20 is made of an aluminum alloy in the same way and provided to the support main body 10 on the side opposite to a net 30 so that the lower end thereof comes into contact with a floor surface. The thickness of the reinforcing rib 20 is set to 30-50mm, the protruding width from the support main body 10 thereof is set to 20-60mm, the attaching length to the support main body 10 is set to 300-1000mm and the whole vol. of the rib is set to 450-1875cm3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
